Biography Patrick Ryan:
Patrick Ryan is known for challenging and dramatic images, that present scenes born out of an early love of surrealism and the world of cinema. This; combined with a desire to express inner emotions and a background in Graphic Design, challenges people's perceptions.
With an Ad Agency client list including Iris London, Leith London, RKCR, FCB, King James, Saatchi, Lowe Bull, Jupiter Drawing Room, Akestam.holst, and Gut Records. Patrick was recently profiled by Getty Images on their website and his work with them won him a Gold Award in the Photo District News Awards 2005 (USA), as well as allowing his images to be viewed in New York and Tokyo as part of Getty promotions. He was a nominee in the 2007 International Colour Awards, has had his personal work published in the Art Magazine iJusi 23 and been profiled in the 2006 Photography Issue of the Art Magazine Contempo. His most notable fashion work has been for SL Magazine and Sleazenation, as well as an ongoing collaboration with fashion designer Maya Prass.
His film imagery was showcased as part of the Saatchi New Directors Selection at the Cannes Festival in 2000 and he has shot music videos for the bands Sikth and Chungking.
